One week left!
Science Gallery is hosting Dublin’s first Mini Maker Faire on July 14th, 2012, and there’s only one week left in the open call for makers!
If you make it, hack it, build it, or tweak it, we want you at Dublin Mini Maker Faire! Submit your idea by March 15th here: http://www.makerfairedublin.
This spectacular one-day event is part of the hugely popular Maker Faire family. Mini Maker Faire is an independent day-long community event where all kinds of “makers” get together to showcase their work.
Makers can be tech enthusiasts, crafters, educators, tinkerers, hobbyists, science clubs, students, authors or commercial exhibitors; anyone with a do-it-yourself attitude to technology. Individuals, groups, schools and organisations are all invited to apply.
Dublin Mini Maker Faire will be an opportunity for makers to interact with each other, to share ideas, and to show examples of their work, projects, crafts, inventions, products and hacks in a vibrant fair-style event. It will incorporate stalls, talks, workshops and more, and is already supported by Dublin City of Science, NUI Maynooth, Science Gallery, TOG, and Irish Robotics Club.
We will also need volunteers, equipment, financial support, workshop leaders, exhibitors, and much more, as we get closer to July. For more information, visit http://www.
