The Irish Guild of Weavers, Spinners & Dyers

The Irish Guild of Weavers, Spinners and Dyers if a voluntary organization with members from all over Ireland who promote and encourage the crafts of weaving, spinning and dyeing. We are currently reaching out to anyone with interests in fiber crafts so that they can be inspired to create something for themselves. We hold workshops, demonstrations and take part in events like Dublin Maker so that the general public can try some of these crafts for themselves.

The Guild also has an online interactive community which is fun, supportive and a fantastic way for us to keep in touch with our members across the country. Currently we are taking part in the Tour de Fleece which is focused on hand spinning within timeframe of the Tour de France. We support our members, share our work and try to build a fun presence online where we can all learn together.
